This was sent by a client of mine.
This spam is a Web page inside the browser that blocks any keys from the keyboard. The user can’t do anything. You can’t alt-tab into another app or close the window.
If you ever get this, DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER ON THE SCREEN, under any circumstances.
In order to get rid of this screen follow these simple steps:
On Windows:
- Press together the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys
- Select Task Manager
- If you get a full list of app, go to next step, if not click on “More Details”
- Scroll down to the name of your browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera…)
- Click on “End Task”
On MacOS:
- Command (⌘) + Option (⌥) + Escape (Esc) to open Force Quit
- Select your browser (Safari, Chrome,…)
- Click Force Quit
